In addition to being able to specify the tubing dimensions to allow our customers to achieve the balloon dimensions and performance required, Freudenberg Medical’s Balloon Development Center of Excellence offers all capabilities in-house to develop, manufacture, and test high-performance medical balloons. With dedicated equipment and engineers to ensure short lead times and quickly get prototypes in hand through our Rapid Response Prototyping, we are able to quickly design concepts to address challenging requirements with multi-layer extrusions, high burst pressure, or specific features, lengths and diameters.

In order to manufacture high-quality balloons, you must start with high-quality balloon tubing. That is why Freudenberg Medical should be your supplier. We produce tubing with consistent wall thickness and excellent concentricity. Plus we have the extrusion expertise to hold tight tolerances, and control mechanical properties, such as elongation, for better yields.
