Freudenberg Medical Introduces Innovative Twisted Lumen Tubing
Multi-lumen technology for minimally invasive and cardiac applications
Kaiserslautern, Germany – January 29, 2020 – Freudenberg Medical, a global developer and manufacturer of medical devices, components, and minimally invasive solutions, has introduced an innovative twisted lumen tubing called HelixTwist™. A multi-lumen silicone tubing technology designed to prevent lumen kinks and blockage by providing an equal balance of stress across the inner and outer lumens as the tube bends. HelixTwist™ silicone tubing is optimal for pacemakers, breathing tubes, neurostimulation and other applications that require navigation through tortuous pathways within the human body.
