Freudenberg Group Celebrates 170 Years by Planting Trees Around the World

Freudenberg Medical is celebrating the 170-year anniversary of its parent company, the Freudenberg Group. To commemorate the occasion its worldwide operations are digging in to plant trees within their local communities all over the world.
All Freudenberg Group businesses are committed to protecting the environment and fostering sustainability and nature preservation. The trees are symbolic of the company’s connection with the local communities in which Freudenberg operates.
… In Shenzhen, China 170 cherry blossom trees were planted in a local community park and within Freudenberg Medical’s industrial park
… In Jeffersonville, Indiana trees were donated and placed in “pop-up parks” throughout the city
… In Carrick-on-Shannon & Rooskey, Ireland, the team joined forces with local towns and villages and planted 27 whitebeam trees which are native to Ireland
… In Baldwin Park, California the operation coordinated with the city’s annual Arbor Day tradition of planting commemorative trees dedicated to special members of the community
… In Carpinteria, California two 10-foot California live oak trees were planted on the Carpinteria Nature Bluffs Preserve, a city owned open space
