Freudenberg Medical Costa Rica is Freudenberg Medical’s state-of-the-art operation in Latin America. The facility was built in 2012 and is located in the Coyol Free Trade Zone and Business Park in Alajuela, Costa Rica, 10 minutes from the San Jose international airport and 90 minutes from the seaport.
Costa Rica has a large medical device community and offers a skilled, educated workforce, as well as good security and a high quality infrastructure.
Capabilities at the Costa Rica facility include finished device assembly, subassembly, molding, extrusion, packaging, and tech transfers.
